Biography

Inadepiena - Ina van den Berg (1982)

Is painting and drawing since childhood. As a 17-year-old girl in the grip of arts she leaves her birth town Anna Paulowna to live in the creative breeding grounds of Amsterdam and starts her education at the Graphic school. In Amsterdam she meets the artist Herman Brood, under his wing she learns how great and important imagination is. Next to her education she works independently and with other student artists on various art and graphic projects in and around Amsterdam.

In 2002 she graduates and starts her career as a Graphic Designer where she works for agencies as Ogilvy and Dawn and makes award-winning work for clients as BP and Maandag. Beside her work as a Graphic Designer she keeps painting and drawing and takes various studies in art and photography. Later she attends the Junior Academy for Art Direction, where she graduates in 2008 with a gold award for most promising talent of the year. She still finds her love for different disciplines in art among which graphic design, painting and photography easy to combine: “An idea should be free of means.” This unbounded view results in a broad spectrum of technical skills and a big variety in her work.
